BNC CONNECTORS, AND POWER PIGTAILS
Here is how to install twist on BNC connectors to RG 59, and how to
install a power pigtail to 16 gauge two conductor (16/2) wire.
First take your RG 59 strippers, and cut back the insullation. If you do
have an RG 59 stripper then you can use a razor knife. Make your first
cut 1/4 back from the edge of the coax, and cut all the way through the
braid. Try not to nick the center conductor. Next cut the insulation 1/8
of an inch from the edge of the outer jacket. Your wire should look like
the picture below.

Take the braid, and push it back against the outer jacket.

Twist the BNC connector on to the coax until it is firm to twist.

We are going to set up the power pigtail. Connect the camera to your
newly installed BNC.

Plug the power pigtail in to the camera, and hold it next to your BNC
connector. Where the end of the pigtail lines up with the 16/2 wire is
where you will mark the 16/2 to be cut.

Crimp on butt connectors to the power pigtail. Make sure you have a
good mechanical connection!

Take the 16/2 wire, and strip the outer jacket back about two inches
from the end of the wire.

Your power wire should appear like the picture below.

Crimp the power pigtail to the 16/2 wire.

If you cut the 16/2 wire to match the length of the power pigtail, then it
should appear as the photo below.

If the camera lead is long, then zig zag the wire, and use zip strips to hold
it in place. This will allow you to pull the wiring tight by pulling on the zig
zag wire tight. This will keep your wiring from sagging.

Now you are ready to run wiring on your own! Good luck!
